Tignes Ski Info, facts & figures

Tignes ski area stretches from the Grande Motte glacier at 3456m down to the villages of Les Brevieres and Le Fornet at either end of the ski area. Dramatic improvements to the lifts at this end  means you can now ski  from Le Fornet to the far corners of Tignes in a morning.

Beginners can enjoy free access to 8 lifts within the Tignes area, of which 2 are at Le Lac. Intermediates will revel in the choices available every day. The Espace Killy holds iconic status amongst expert skiers for its huge choice of black runs and endless off piste.

The area is popular with boarders and free riders and there are a couple of “fun parks” open to skiers and boarders of all levels.
