Val d'Isere Ski Info, facts & figures

L’Espace Killy stretches from Val d’Isere’s Pissaillas Glacier at Le Fornet to the top of the Grande Motte , ten miles away, dramatic improvements to the lifts at this end  means you can now ski  from Le Fornet to the far corners of Tignes in a morning.

The nursery slopes in the village centre are excellent with free lifts and snow cannons, there are also easy green runs up high. In addition, extensive changes have happened at the top of Solaise including the creation of a whole  new nursery slope area so beginners are no longer confined to the lower slopes (a ski pass will be needed to access these higher slopes). Intermediates will be kept happy with wide gentle sunny pistes with challenging reds for those who are feeling confident. More advanced skiers come for the moguls and endless offpiste.

The area is popular with boarders and free riders who will find lots of natural gullies and cliffs. The main snowpark is situated on the Bellevarde/La Daille sector and offers a huge range of features.
