Children in St Anton

With dedicated children's areas not only at  Nasserein and the resort centre but also up at the Gampen, combined with excellent ski instructors, St Anton is an excellent choice for your Family ski holiday. The Village itself offers plenty of traditional Austrian charm with a good range of local facilities including a fantastic indoor and outdoor pool complex, climbing walls and tennis centre.

St Anton can be great value for Families as there are heavily discounted rates for ski passes with rates from only £15 and our guests can take advantage of free kids ski and boot hire with each adult hire through our local suppliers.

Children in our chalets

We welcome children in any of our chalets at any time throughout the season regardless of whether you are a group taking over the whole chalet or individual bookings into a larger chalet (at our discretion depending on other bookings).

  • Our generous special reductions apply throughout the season
  • Selected family rooms with half price for under 12s.
  • The same reductions apply to all your children (not just the first two!).
  • Our child discount applies whether your children share your room or not.
  • Children enjoying discounts are still counted towards group discounts.

(Child discounts do not apply to late availability/reduced price holidays)

For all children under the age of 12 years we offer a generous 10% discount , however in selected chalets and family rooms, children can go at half price. All discounted children enjoy our child friendly early supper which our chalet staff will provide at approximately 6pm, (a parent must be on hand to oversee their child). This will be a two course meal with tasty (& healthy!) dishes such as shepherd’s pie, pasta bakes and casseroles followed by fruit, ice cream, crumbles etc. We encourage parents to chat to  our chalet staff prior to their arrival to discuss their children’s  meals. If you are taking over a whole chalet and would prefer your children to join the normal adult dinner then there is a supplement of £50 per child per week, please advise us of this at least two weeks prior to your departure. If you are in a shared chalet then we expect children under 12 to have the early supper. The only exception is Christmas dinner and sometimes meals on arrival night if you are arriving late.

We charge £100 for babies  under the age of 2, they do not have their own  flight or coach seat so will  sit on a Parents lap for these journeys. Subject to their availability, we can provide travel cots and high chairs if required, please ensure you bring your own baby sleeping bag or blankets  and a harness if required for high chairs. We do not provide jars of baby food or formula but your chalet host will happily keep some fruit/veg to one side and make a puree for your baby. Breakfast and simple children's supper is available to toddlers around 18-24 months who can manage normal solid foods.

All our chalets have tv’s and dvd players so please feel free to bring your own selection of dvd’s and also a selection of general board games.

Please remember that car seats/booster seats are not available or able to be fitted on our coach transfers, lap belts are available  for older children and under 2s sit on a Parent's lap.  However baby seats/car seats are available on private taxi transfers, please ask for prices for private transfers.

Please bear in mind that our chalets/chalet hotels are not equipped to be child safe, there won't be stair gates or socket covers for example, bunk beds may not have guard rails and  not all chalets have microwaves if you need these for sterilising bottles etc. Please make sure you are familiar with the chalet layout and bedroom locations and bear in mind that entrances maybe shared with other residents. Children's behaviour and their safety remain the sole responsibility of their parents at all times.

We don't offer any child care of our own, however the popular Kinderwelt (Childrens World) is based  in the resort centre at the foot of the slopes. The centres provide an exciting programme of fun and games both indoors and outdoors in specially designated children's playground areas. Can be combined with ski school where appropriate.  Open from 9am to 4.30pm daily excluding Saturday for children from around 2.5 years of age, and no longer requiring nappies.
