St. Anton Ski info, facts & figures

St Anton is part of the Arlberg ski area which covers St. Anton, St Christoph, Stuben, Zurs, Lech, Oberlech and Sonnenkopf. New for Winter 206/17, the Flexenbahn cableway will link between Zurs and Stuben/Rauz meaning the Arlberg becomes the largest continuous ski area in Austrian giving you 305km downhill slopes and access to 87 lifts/cableways. The Arlberg ski pass covers this entire area!. In St. Anton, the ski area is in two sections on either side of the St. Anton Valley. Rendl is the smaller and easier with lots of intermediate skiing, it gets lots of sunshine and the area outside the mountain restaurant is known as Rendl Beach! There is also a terrain park so it is a popular spot with boarders. The opposite side of the valley is the Galzig area and  the hub of the ski area.  Early intermediates will find plenty to enjoy on the slopes of Gampen and Kapall and from here you can continue up to Galzig with a huge variety of runs in different directions. The most famous skiing is in the world renowned Valluga region providing some of the most glorious off piste skiing in the world.
