Val d'Isere -
One of the finest ski resorts in the world

Val d'Isere remains a firm favourite with British visitors and is regarded by many as the world’s greatest ski resort. The huge expanse of Espace Killy comprising Val d’Isere and neighbouring Tignes is the highest extended ski terrain in the world with most skiing above 2300m

Val d’Isere  has an unrivalled snow record and conditions normally facilitate good skiing right to the end of the season which tends to be as late as early May. Val d’Isere was home to the World Cup in February 2009 with the men’s & womens races taking place on the Bellevarde (right in front of our Chalet Chamois D'Or) & Solaise slopes.

The resort is a top destination with a vibrant and lively atmosphere, the village stretches along the road from purpose built La Daille to Le Fornet. The resort’s free bus service runs with excellent efficiency every few minutes during the day from one end of resort to the other.
