Working in the Alps

Ski-Val prides itself on its history as an independent, family run business with over 40 years experience of catered, chalet ski holidays to some of the top resorts in the Alps. We are delighted to welcome back many of our guests year after year and strive to offer an excellent level of customer service right from the day of booking all the way through to the last day of our guests' holidays.

Our resort staff are very important to us; they represent the company and play a vital part in ensuring our guest’s enjoy their holiday with Ski-Val. We value and look after our staff and as a testament to this, many return to work with us for two, three or even more seasons.

The characteristics that we look for in all our staff are; the ability to work hard, be commited and adaptable. A Ski-Val team member should have excellent ‘people skills’, a great sense of humour and the desire to ensure your guests have a fantastic and memorable week’s holiday. So, if you love meeting new people, are ready for a challenge and are happy to roll your sleeves up, you could be perfect for us.

In return for your hard work and commitment we offer a competitive package including your travel to and from the resort, training, full area ski pass, ski hire, accommodation and a uniform.

Please note that we can only accept applications from EU Passport holders, resident in the UK and those with a UK National Insurance number. In addition applicants must have worked in the UK for a consecutive period of at least 1 month in the current UK tax year, and declared National Insurance.
